I, the Lichtjahre project (hereinafter referred to as "Lichtjahre") appreciate your visit to my website and your interest in my project. I try to offer you the best possible service; this also includes the constant optimization of my Internet presence and of course also the protection of your data. When you visit my website, the server automatically records data that I do not assign to any personal identity. These could be, for example: Domain name and IP address of the requesting computer as well as date of access, duration of your visit or website from which you are visiting me. These data are usually used for purposes of system security and the constant optimization of my pages and services. The evaluation is exclusively statistical.
Further personal data such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not recorded unless you expressly provide this information to me (e.g. via the contact form or by e-mail). In such a case I will of course only collect, process or use your data for the respectively indicated or the purposes resulting from it, unless a passing on is necessary due to valid legal regulations. I will only use your data for other purposes (e.g. advertising or market and opinion research) if you have expressly consented to this.
In the following, I, "Lichtjahre" would like to inform you, about the handling of your data in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Responsible for the following data collection and processing is the person named on the

• the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened in such a way that a personal reference can no longer be established.
The mentioned log data will only be stored anonymously.
Data transmission to third parties
I transfer your data within the scope of an order processing according to Art. 28 DSGVO to service providers who support me in the operation of my websites and the associated processes. My service providers are strictly bound to my instructions and are contractually bound accordingly. I use the following service providers: hosting service provider.
Data transfer to third countries
I sometimes transfer personal data to a third country outside the EU. In the case of Google Analytics (USA), an appropriate level of data protection follows from the corresponding participation in the Privacy Shield Agreement (Art. 45 para. 1 DSGVO).
Usage of Cookies
These cookies do not contain personal data nor are they combined by me with other data in order to identify you personally.
In order to protect your data from unwanted access as comprehensively as possible, I take technical and organizational measures. I use an encryption method on my pages. Your data is transferred from your computer to my server and vice versa via the Internet using TLS encryption. You can recognize this by the fact that the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser is closed and the address line starts with https://
Your rights as a user
You, as the data subject, have the right of access under Article 15 DSGVO, the right to correction under Article 16 DSGVO, the right to cancellation under Article 17 DSGVO, the right to limitation of processing under Article 18 DSGVO, the right of opposition under Article 21 DSGVO and the right to data transfer under Article 20 DSGVO. The restrictions according to §§ 34 and 35 BDSG apply to the right to information and the right of cancellation. In addition, there is a right of appeal to a competent data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 DSGVO in conjunction with § 19 BDSG).
Right of objection (Art. 21 DS-GVO)
If data are collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f (data processing to protect legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling reasons worthy of protection for the processing which outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
Right of appeal to a supervisory authority
According to Art. 77 DSGVO, you have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates data protection regulations. The right of appeal may be exercised in particular before a supervisory authority in the Member State where you are staying, working or suspected of infringing.
Embedded YouTube videos
On some subpages I embed YouTube videos into my website. Calling up these sub-pages results in contents being loaded from YouTube. In this context, YouTube also receives your IP address, which is technically necessary for retrieving the contents. I have no influence on the further processing by YouTube. However, when embedding the videos, I took care to activate the extended data protection mode offered by YouTube.
